Digital Group

OUR DIGITAL GROUP
The second Wednesday of each is dedicated to the mutual exchange of ideas and information about digital imaging. We start from the camera and progress through the various phases of producing an image in either the printed or electronic form.
The group benefits by using members with experience, sharing their ideas and techniques with the group. Using either the typical group demonstration aided by the club’s projector or by individual involvement. Members are encouraged to raise problems they encounter or air something new they have discovered.
The common programs discussed are Photoshop, Lightroom and Photoshop Elements.
Any member is free to attend preferably with a laptop, to work through the various problems and solutions as they are demonstrated.
During the year members will be accumulating work for inclusion in their portfolio portraying the theme “OLD” in monochrome. The portfolio will comprise 5 to 8 images linking them with the theme. The portfolios will be presented on the 10th November.
The group meets at 7.30pm in one of the Richmond Club’s Function Rooms.
